Welcome to The Art Department Newcastle website ("the Website"). By using the Website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions ("Terms") as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use the Website.

Class Returns & Refunds (Cancellations)
Please check the booking date carefully as we cannot refund/accommodate you if you turn up on the incorrect day.

We understand that sometimes life gets in the way, which is why we’re happy to cancel your booking for $55 per transaction up to 48-hours before your scheduled session time.

If cancelling within that 48-hour window, a $55 per ticket fee will be applied.

For bookings of 6 or more, the $55 will be charged per seat up to a week prior to your session being due to start.

Make up classes or credit notes are not offered for missed classes.

We understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations. We want all of our customers to be satisfied with their purchases, which is why we have a flexible refunds and returns policy.

All requests for refunds or returns will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. This means that we will evaluate each individual order to determine if a return or refund is appropriate.

To initiate a request for a refund or return, please contact our team via email hello@theartdepartment.com.au within 14 days of receiving your order. Our team will review your request and may ask for additional information to assist in the evaluation process.

If it is determined that a return or refund is appropriate, we will provide you with instructions on how to proceed. In most cases, we will require that you return the item in its original condition and packaging. Once we receive the item and verify that it meets our return criteria, we will process your refund or exchange.

Please note that we reserve the right to refuse any returns or refunds that do not meet our return criteria or that are submitted after the 14-day window.We take customer satisfaction very seriously and we will do our best to work with you to find a satisfactory solution to any issues you may have with your order.
