Each child will spend some time at the pottery wheel and will be assisted by the teacher to create a shape of their choice. The young artists will also experiment with freely forming the clay to sculpt different objects and will have the opportunity to decorate their work with colourful ceramic paints. By the end of the class, each child will make a colourful trinket dish with small ornaments of their choice.

All our teachers are trained Art Therapists and have WWCC (Working With Children Checks)

We recommend taking your piece home to air dry for at least 4 weeks to have the best results.*No time for dawdlers! Classes start on time, ensuring everyone gets their share of the fun.

Types of Clay We Use

When it comes to getting your hands dirty with clay, we like to keep things interesting, which is why we use Mid Fire clay for our classes and workshops due to its exceptional qualities.

Not only is it more sustainable, but it also offers greater versatility when it comes to glazing and firing, ensuring your pieces are not only visually stunning but also functional for everyday use, including being microwave safe.

Kiln Firing

Certain classes offer the choice to add Firing of your art pieces during checkout, while others include it in the class fee.  Please review the class details and be sure to carefully read our terms & conditions, particularly those related to kiln breakages, available here.

Clay Piece Collection

In this workshop, we use mid-fire clay. Throughout the 5 weeks, you'll create multiple art pieces that will be stored in the studio. On the final class, you can choose one piece for glazing and firing. The glazing and firing process takes approximately 4 weeks, and you'll be notified of a collection pick-up time within 2-4 weeks from the final class date.

We also offer a flat rate shipping of $10. Please contact the team here to arrange shipping.

If objects haven’t been picked up after 4 weeks they will be donated or recycled.

Clay Piece Collection

If you left your items to dry or be fired in our studio, You'll get an SMS when they're ready for pickup. Please be sure to label your pieces and show us a pic to make it an easy collection for everyone. If you're taking your creation home, let it air dry for 4 weeks for best results.
