COURSE

Mums and Bubs Pottery

Trusted by Thousands of Pottery Lovers
Duration:
1h 30m
Level:
Beginner
Class Limit:
20

A pottery class designed for the two of you.

This 1.5-hour session is a relaxed, hands-on introduction to clay, made specifically for mums (and grandmas!) and their little ones aged 0–5. Think less "perfect finished piece, " more joyful, messy, tactile play. You'll explore clay together at your own pace in a calm, welcoming environment, guided by our teachers the whole way.

One glazed and fired piece is included, so you'll leave with something to remember the moment by.

Our Newcastle studio is pram-accessible directly from the street, and we recommend keeping babies and younger bubs in their pram during the session for comfort and safety.

Whether you're a first-time maker or just looking for something a little different to do with your bub, this one's for you.

*Pricing is per adult and includes up to 2 children (ages 0–5). Additional children $10 each.

$85
per person
Self-managed NDIS must ‘not’ book via the website, please email the studio.

Glazing & Firing pieces

When it comes to getting your hands dirty with clay, we like to keep things interesting, which is why we use Mid Fire clay for our classes and workshops due to its exceptional qualities.

Not only is it more sustainable, but it also offers greater versatility when it comes to glazing and firing, ensuring your pieces are not only visually stunning but also functional for everyday use, including being microwave safe.

Polices & change of dates

Certain classes offer the choice to add Firing of your art pieces during checkout, while others include it in the class fee.  Please review the class details and be sure to carefully read our terms & conditions, particularly those related to kiln breakages, available here.

How to get there

You can find a convenient parking station on Bolton Street or at Honeysuckle, or simply hop on the tram 200 meters away on Hunter Street.

For an even more carefree experience, why not leave your car at the Wickham Interchange and take a scenic tram ride to the Lucky Country Hotel. We are just around the corner from the Pub.
